Noah Zagor most recently acted as the Senior North American Menswear Editor and Strategist for WGSN and has spent much of his life around fashion and culture.
A born and raised New Yorker, whose grandfather was a women’s clothing designer, Noah has been working in fashion for over a twenty years for such influential companies and boutiques as Steven Alan, Odin NYC, Stone Island CP Company, and as a personal shopper and stylist for the J Crew Liquor and Men’s Collection stores. While working in New York, Noah was also one of the founding members of MindSpray, a hip-hop collective where he produced music, rapped, and hosted and performed shows all over the United Sates. He then moved to Chicago where he became the first Director of Brand Communication for Haberdash Men's Shop helping launch the company into the national menswear conversation. After his time there, he worked as a freelance consultant, trend forecaster, stylist, writer, personal shopper, and all around men's lifestyle expert lending his voice to several articles and projects.
In 2014, along with partners Tony Kim and Ryan Bardsley, Noah launched MEYVN, a men’s store, website, and brand based in Chicago’s Logan Square. At MEYVN, Noah served as majority owner, business manager, buyer, merchandiser, editor and chief for the website, and creative director.
This lead to his roll as a consultant, launching his own company providing services ranging from developing and presenting concepts and collections to commercial retailers including Walmart on behalf of global manufacturers, to hosting and organizing the discussion panels for Project trade show, to lending his voice as a contributing editor at WGSN.
Beyond fashion, Noah has a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, which helps fuel his passion for the story behind the clothes as well a deep interest in examining human behavior, specifically the social and cultural factors that influence fashion trends and shopping patterns. According to Noah, the key to great style starts with honesty—with a grasp of self-awareness and an understanding of where one intersects with culture and trend at any place and time.
